I can't believe it is almost the end of June! School has been out for a week. Emily finished her Junior year with straight A's! wow! Nick finished kindergarten--woo hoo!! Emily heads off to YW Girls' Camp next week. Disney passes expire soon--probably waiting until November to renew again. Yep, Cameron comes home in November... so so so proud of him! 5 more months =) Emily turns 17 next week.

may gray

living in coastal Southern California, you get used to the terms "may gray" and "june gloom"... just those clouds that hang over the area and act as natural air conditioning... I love 'em !!

but also with May this year is a bit of gray in my life... just seems like I can't catch up... on sleep, on paperwork, at my jobs, with my kids, with friends, at church, with laundry, with email, ugh!!... it is just so overwhelming sometimes...

I guess I should feel okay... got my may post here on my blog =)

can you believe it!?! two posts in two days!!

I just have to comment on my tough little 3-year-old! While most little girls whimper at a paper cut or a poking brother, my girl gets a big ol' welt on her cheek from banging her face on the corner of our patio table. She won't keep the ice pack on and insists, "It's okay. It's not bleeding!!"

okay, it has been about a month now since my last post... I guess I'm not the best blogger. I could be if I had more time!! Things just get away from me... this evening I FINALLY sent some family members Cameron's last few emails... It was about halfway through his mission that he gave me "permission" to forward his emails... He is such a good writer... much better than I am!! But then again, I might be better if I had a designated, set-aside time that I was required to write to my parents once a week!!

I sure love him and miss him!! (but I don't miss him enough that I want him to come home early!! he is where he is supposed to be, doing what he is supposed to be doing!!)

I have to get better about recording my kids fun stuff... This morning Rebecca took off her pajama top in preparation for her shower (yep, she "loves" those better than baths now!), flung it up and over, then said "voila!!" I just busted up. I asked her where she learned that (it isn't a term we use frequently!) and she said in preschool (good job, Felicity!!) but I think it is probably from one of her favorite books, Madeline...

I love it when my days start with a good laugh from my kids!

I just have to post something so I have one more post than "follower"!!
